It was a long, slippery trip south to Cincinnati, but our boys made it safely to The Great American Sports Cafe just in time for The Queen City Beard and Moustache Society’s 3rd meeting held on January 11th, 2011. Co-founders Thomas “Maurice” Smith and Stephen Alexander, along with Archduke Bryan Winget made the trip to formally announce the formation of Beard Team Ohio!

On August 22nd, 2011, The Gem City Gentlemen, along with The Gem City Gems, and on behalf of Beard Team Ohio, traveled north to the great state of Michigan once again. Our destination this time: the capital city of Lansing, for GAFBO's (The Great American Fierce Beard Organization) Beards, Mo's, Anything Goes Beard and Moustache Competition, a benefit for Parker's Purpose.

It was the eve of Saturday, January 8th, and we were off to Legends Pub and Grille, to meet up with our brothers and sisters from The Gem City Fake Moustache Society for their 2nd annual 'Stach Bash. We did it! November 13th, 2010 will forever be a momentous occasion for The Gem City Gents. Ohio's First Beard and Moustache Competition and Festival, “Beards of Charity”, was a huge success, with nearly $1700 in proceeds going to benefit the residents of the Stillwater Center. We are very pleased and grateful to everyone who helped make this such a glorious occasion.
